Extracted and recombined into a "food-form" state using state of the art technologies to optimize their bioavailability. Biological components of marine origin

Hydrolisate of marine collagen, obtained through an innovative enzymatic process, which enables its underlying components, especially its collagen to be released and assimilated. Collagen is one of the fundamental building blocks of connective tissues and plays a major role in maintaining the integrity of their mechanical, nutritional and defensive functions.
Glycosaminoglycans   combine with proteins to form proteoglycans which interact with collagen and elastin, to form a biological glue.  While playing a fundamental role in the hydration of connective tissues, they also stimulate cell growth. Their effects are particularly beneficial to the skin. (ENOCERIDE® has  been shown to have a dramatic effect on the ageing process of the skin ­ See study). the glycosaminoglycanes used in ENOCERIDE® are obtained through biotechnology - (specifically an enzyme-induced hydrolysis)  with the goal of keeping its functional properties intact and making them bio-available.

Marine oily extract
We obtain the extract by a fat extraction process; it is characterised by :
- a high content of unsaponifiable matter;
- an extract almost entirely composed of waxes, the oil's fatty acids being esterified;
- a wax of marine origin.
A nonnal fish oil contains 98% of triglycerides (free form); in the oily extract included in ENOCERIDE®, the situation is reversed. EPA and DHA are present, but combined with fatty alcohols. The fatty acids are in the form of long chains - mainly C38 and C40, with an even number of carbon atoms - and are combined with fatty alcohols (as esters of fatty acicls or "cerides").
ENOCERIDE's oily extract is 96% composed of waxes.
